She is the mother of Elisha Higgins Jr, Martha (Higgins) Doane, Beriah Higgins, Alice Higgins, Apphia Higgins, Jonathan Higgins, Elisabeth (Higgins) Mayo, Joseph Higgins, Ruth Higgins and Barnabas Higgins. Jane died about 1738 in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts.

Jane Collins was born March 3, 1684, the daughter of Joseph Collins
and Ruby Knowles of Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts.[1] [2] [3]
On September 30, 1701, she married Elisha Higgins, son of Jonathan[4] and had children[4] [5]
She died before November 1739, when Elisha remarried[4] [5]
