45. Benjamine Frey (Anna Catherina Levering3, Wigard "John" Levering2, Rosier Levering1) was born 1701 in , , Pennsylvania, and died Mar 1753 in Frye Fort, Frederick, Virginia. He married Regina Ann Christena Merkle 10 May 1722 in , Pennsylvania, daughter of Abraham Merkle and Anna Veronika. She was born 20 Mar 1699 in Probably Wimpfen Am Hesse, Darmstadt, Bonfeld, Germany , and died 27 Aug 1752.

The wife of Benjamin is not proved. May have been daughter of Abraham Merklel of Bonfeld, Germany. Wife is also seen as "Anna Christena" and "Christena Anne" and "Christian". Hank Adams also thinks Benjamin's wife may have been a sister to the wife of Jost Hite.

Will dated Aug 27, 1753 and proved Nov 6, 1753. Wife Cristen to live with son Joseph.on the remainder of the homestead [Abraham had previously been deeded 200 acres.] Jacob had already acquired a Fairfax patent for land downstream of his father. Joseph's deed shows his land bounded both his brother Abraham and Jacob. Executors: sons, Abraham and Henry. Names sons, Jacob, Samuel, Benjamin, William. Daughters: Cristen, Elizabeth. There were bequests of money to Jacob, Benjamin Jr, Cristin, William & Elizabeth - perhaps to equal the distribution to his children. Samuel inherited the 168 acre tract on the North Shanandoah River where he was probably living at the time. Son Henry is know to have owned property in the Capon Valley. Benjamin Frey's original will is in the County Clerk's office. He signed the will himself in English but the letters appear to have been written with difficulty.

Benjamin and Christen are believed buried in the family cemetery on the original tract of land along Cedar Creek.

He married Frances "Fanny" Littler Abt 1758-1760 in Cedar Creek, Shenandoah County, Virginia. She was born 30 Jul 1738 in , , Pennsylvania, and died 10 Nov 1805 in Hardy County, Virginia (Now West Virginia). She was buried in Frye Cemetery, Hampshire County, Virginia.
• + 115 iii. Jacob Frey was born 1726 in Perkiomen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died 25 Feb 1808 in , Frederick, Virginia. He married Mary.
• + 116 iv. Joseph Frye Frey was born 1727 in Perkiomen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died Aug 1781 in , Frederick, Virginia. He married Anne Funk 2 Aug 1757 in Fairfax, Virginia. She was born 1741 in Fairfax, Virginia.
• + 117 v. Samuel Frye Frey was born 1729 in , Frederick, Virginia, and died 15 Aug 1814 in Washington, Pennsylvania,. He married Christina "Spears" Speers 24 Sep 1767 in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA. She was born 1752 in , Frederick, Virginia, and died 9 Nov 1841 in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA.
• 118 vi. Benjamin Frye Frey was born 1731 in Perkiomen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died 20 Jun 1812. He married Catherine "Spears" Speers.
• 119 vii. Cristen Frye Frey was born 1733 in Perkiomen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died 1781. She married Joseph Powell.
• 120 viii. William Frye Frey was born 1735 in Perkiomen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and died 1796. He married Rachel "Spears" Speers. He married Ann Randsdall.
• 121 ix. Elizabeth Frey was born 1737 in Perkiomen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
