Planter and surveyor. Benjamin Johnson and his wife Agnes were married on February 9, 1721/22 at the Friends Meeting House near the Swamp in Hanover County, Virginia, which was at that time part of the Henrico Monthly Meeting.

He died testate with a will dated December 20, 1753, which was recorded by the Louisa County Court on May 28, 1754.
