Biography

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Reade-78

Benjamin Reade was probably born in Ware Parish, Gloucester County, Virginia. Benjamin was a son of George Reade and Elizabeth Martiau.[1][2] His father immigrated to Virginia in 1637, so he was certainly born in Virginia.[3]

We do not know the exact birth date for Benjamin. However we do know that he and his brother Thomas were underage in 1687 when their mother wrote her will.[4] So they had to have been born after c. 1666 (using this date)

Marriage Clarification

Benjamin married Mary Gwynne,[5][6] or "Miss Gwyn,"[2] or Lucy Unknown.[7]

His brother, Thomas, married Lucy Gwynn, descendant of Hugh Gwynn, Burgess[2]

There is no known relationship between the wives of Benjamin and Thomas.
