He lived in the city of La Crosse for Several years; Went to Sparta in 1874 and engaged in the bakery and confectionery business. Located in Bangor in 1878.. His wife was born in Norway. They Have had six boys, four of whom are living - Ole B., Emil H., Milen and John. One of the deceased was named Alfred, the other died in early infancy.
