Bernice Gebo-Feddema, ♊

(Vierstra) Feddema, 86, of Hazel St. went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of March 13, 2011 at her home in Florida. She was the wife of Philip A. Feddema Sr. and additionally survived by one son, Philip A. Feddema Jr. of Uxbridge, MA; four daughters, Donna Nadeau of Uxbridge, MA, Kathleen Grenier of Lebanon, PA, Patricia Seier of Lenhartsville, PA and Debra Wismer of Whitehall, PA; three brothers, her twin, Bernard Vierstra of Ft. Meyers, FL, Andrew Vierstra of Henderson, NV and William Vierstra of Indian Land, SC; two sisters; Shirley Barker of Creekwoods, PA and Joyce Camara of Sun City, AZ; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Feddema was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working private duty for the Olsten Health Services in the Worcester and Cape Cod areas and as a hostess for the Welcome Wagon in the Whitinsville, Uxbridge and Douglas areas.

She was born March 6, 1925 in Whitinsville, a daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine (Opperwall) Vierstra. She was a graduate of Whitinsville Christian School, Class of 1938, Northbridge High School, Class of 1942 and the David Hale Fanning Vocational School of Nursing.

Mr. & Mrs. Feddema observed their 44th wedding anniversary on Dec. 2, 2010.

Mrs. Feddema was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barefoot Bay in Barefoot Bay, FL.

Funeral services will be held Sat. March 480 Church St. Whitinsville, 01588.

Interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Providence Rd., Northbridge 01534.

Visiting hours will be Fri. March 18, 2011 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
