Berton Edward Newhouse

Berton Newhouse. "A machinist, he and his wife, the former Dee Moore, reside

in Strattanville, R.D. 1. Following graduation from high shool, he attended

the Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, Massachusetts, specializing

in machine work and toolmaking. He has worked in the gas fields and as a

machinist at the Reed Engine Co., Oil city and at Struthers Weiss in

titusville, and is a rig builder in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio. A

partner in Furlong's Service in Clarion since 1953, He plans to retire this

year. He has served as a Clarion-Limestone School director and as an elder
