About Bessie Ransom Robertson
Mrs. A. E. Robertson, 78, a resident of Nashville for many years died yesterday while visiting the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Wallace, Lakeland, Fla. She suffered a heart attack three months ago and died following another attack yesterday. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m.tomorrow at Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The daughter of the late Emma Rucker and Marion King and born in Murfreesboro, Tenn. She was educated in the public schools there. The former Miss Bessie King, she was married to Dr. A. E. Robertson, a veterinarian here for many years. He died in 1941.
Mrs. Robertson lived at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. S. Sims for several years. She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ.
Surviving are her two daughters; three sisters, Mrs. J. T. Thomason, St. Louis, Mrs. A. E. Wright, Enid , Oklahoma, Mrs. L. A. Longhurst, Nashville; three brothers, C. H. King, Greenwood, Miss, T. B. King, Grundy Center, Iowa, Roy J. King, Albuquerque, N. M. and two grandsons, William Dudley Borders, US Marine Corps, Parris Island, S.C. and John Wallace, Jr., Lakeland, Fla.
