About Charles Hayes King
Charles H. King, 71, died early this morning at his home after a long illness.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday from Wilson and Knight Chapel with Rev. A. L. Meadows officiating. Interment will be in Odd Fellow cemetery.
Mr. King was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Aven King; two sons, Charles H. King of Vicksburg; Aven R. King, Belzoni; two daughters, Mrs. Chester B. Stricklin, Birmingham; Mrs. Horace J. Giglor, Charleston, S.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lou Thomason, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Aaron Wright, Enid, Okla.; Mrs. L. A. Longhurst, Nashville; two brothers, Rev. R. J. King, Albuquerque, N.M.; T. B. King, Grundy Center, Iowa; and nine grandchildren.
