About Beulah Edith Hammer

Beulah Edith McKinney Hammer, 75, daughter of Grant and Ella Evans McKinney, was born October 28, 1896, near Houston and died February 24 in St. Francis Hospital, Maryville.

She spent several years teaching in the schools of Texas County.

She was married December 24, 1932, to Edwin W. Hammer. To this union four children were born, three of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Ruth Parmalee and two grandchildren, Susan and Craig Parmalee. Also surviving are three sisters, May Sails of Mtn. Grove, Audrey Scott of Wichita, Kan., and Fay Casebeer of Bendavis; one brother, Henry W. McKinney of Houston.

Funeral services were held at Hickory Ridge church Saturday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. D. E. Roderman and the Rev. Earl Campbell. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Price Funeral Home of Maryville.
