Blaise & Marie married in Ascesion Catholic Church in Donaldsonville, La. Diocese of Baton Rouge. Department of the Archives. 1800 S. Acadian Thruway. Baton Rouge, La. 70821 - Vol 1 Pg 125

Blaise, who married in 1773 to Marie-Josephe Breaux, obtained land on both the upper Bayou Plaquemine Brulee (southwest of Opelousas Post) and in the Faquetaique Prairie (near Eunice), both areas becoming centers of the largest line of Lejeune descendants, which was further propagated by Blaise's five sons.

Bayou Blaise LeJeune was named after him. He also started a community called Youngsville, La.
