About Blanche Bonaparte
Blanche Pierce was born to Emily Hill Pierce and Edward Pierce of Newtonville, MA. Emily came from Rochester, NY. Blanche was married twice - first to Harold Strebeigh from New York. They were married about the turn of the century and divorced in 1914 when she married her second husband, Jerome Napoleon Bonaparte. Blanche had three children by her first husband, Strebeigh -a son who died in childhood and twin daughters - Blanche and Barbara who lived into their nineties. Blanche and Jerome N. Bonaparte had no children but they had a lot of society. Blanche was a bit of a social climber and she reached the summit after she married Bonaparte.
