Bonnie Kathryn Weldon

Bonnie Kathryn (Winsor) Weldon passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 26. Her beauty and grace were surpassed only by her remarkable courage and spirit. She made an indelible impression and was beloved by everyone who knew her. She lived life to it's fullest, and dearly loved her family and friends. Bonnie was born July 29, 1919 in Corcoran, California. She attended school in Yuba City, CA and graduated from Yuba College in Marysville, CA in 1940. She married Glenn (Gus) Weldon in 1941 and they moved to Visalia in 1944. In addition to her husband, she leaves a son Tom Weldon (Linda) of Campbell; daughter June Ford (Brian) of Fremont; granddaughters, Julie Hitchcock (Chris); Jill Braun (Eric); and Allison Ford; three great-grandchildren; Ethan and Morgan Hitchcock and Dylan Braun. Bonnie was Past Matron of Martha Washington Chapter #13 order of the Eastern Star; active with the Rainbow Girls and received the Grand Cross of Colors of that organization; Past President of Zeta Alpha Chapter of Theta Tau Theta sorority; Past President of Tulare/Kings Counties Daughters of the Nile Club; member of Tehran Temple #92 of Daughters of the Nile in Fresno; Republican Women's Congressional Committee; Retired Highway Patrol Wives; Red Hat Society; Tulare County Women's Symphony League; and, past Head Trader of the Women's Trade Club of Tulare County. She worked for Caskey Paper Company before going to work for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company for 28 years, retiring in 1984 . Services will be held on Friday, July 30 at 11:30 AM at the Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave. Visalia. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 29, from 2:00 - 7:00 PM.
