The Red Hat Society (RHS) is an international social organization that was founded in 1998 in the United States for women age 50 and beyond, but now open to women of all ages. Its main purpose is to provide women with opportunities for pleasant social interaction, both for reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. There are more than 50,000 members in the United States and 30 other countries.
Project Goals
Please add any and all Geni profiles for women involved with the Red Hats. You can typically find this information in obituaries, so searching newspapers is very important for Red Hat genealogy. You can also find member information in newsletters for senior centers, assisted living centers, and other places that serve older members of the community.
