About Bruno Gosselin
You can also find his name spelled Bruneau. He and his wife lived in St Jean sur Richelieu, Iberville, Québec. and I will share some pictures. In 1847 he married Sophie in Canada. In St Sebastian in 1871 he is a farmer. But they were found in Ware, MA in 1882. All his children were born in Canada. In Gilbertville, MA he was a farmer and laborer. Journalier. Many of his children grew up in Hardwick, MA and there they worked in a woolen mill. There are 11 children. I have seen him also called a papermaker, like many of my mother's family. The Gosselins are a proud family who boast of a long history in Canada. Bruno had a son named Pierre, later called Peter. Peter was my great-grandfather. My mother remembers Peter as sporting a shock of white hair.
