Richard Horton has been detached as son of Caleb & Phebe. The Y DNA test results of descendants of Richard do not match the Y DNA test results of descendants of Caleb’s son Elijah, who was named in Caleb’s will, and Richard was not.
Rachel Racket Who married Jonathan Racket has been detached as a daughter. She was not named in Caleb Horton’s will or codicil.
Migrated to Roxbury (now Chester) in Morris County in 1748.
Caleb died August 6, 1772, and his wife Phebe December 24, 1776.[1]
His will dated 16 May 1759 had a codicil dated 2 January 1768, added after the death of his wife Phebe 24 December 1767.[6][7]
Children named in his will:
He cites, in the codicil of 1768 by name, his wife Phebe, being now dead, and his five daughters, Phebe, Hannah, Sarah, Mary and Rhoda, to receive all that was listed in the original will to be left to his wife, now to be divided evenly between them.
New Jersey, U.S., Abstract of Wills, 1670-1817, Liber K p. 508 - Will of Caleb Horton dated 16 May 1759, with 2 Jan. 1768 codicil, proved 21 Nov. 1772

Sons named in the will of Caleb Horton:
Daughter named in the will of Caleb Horton:
In the will that you mentioned, he names his sons: Caleb, Nathaniel, Elijah and Nathan. No Richard is mentioned. If he had a son named Richard, he would have had to have died before 1768. He also names his daughters: Phebe, Hannah, Sarah, Mary and Rhoda.

I won’t keep you in suspense. Team Jonathan’s sample matched those of Team Joseph. The sample from Team Caleb via Elijah matched those of Team Joseph, but did not match my husband’s sample, Team Caleb via Richard. And Team UK’s sample matched those of Teams Joseph, Jonathan, and Caleb via Elijah, but not the sample from Team Caleb via Richard. My husband’s team had struck out. Science proved he and others on the same team had no genetic connection to Barnabas Horton of Southold. Instead, Team Caleb via Richard descended from a Pennsylvania Quaker of unknown origins!
