McVEYTOWN - Calvin L. "Cutty" Fisher, 82, of McVeytown, died at March 22, 2010, at Lewistown.

Born Nov. 15, 1927, in Granville, he was a son of the late Willis H. and Margaret E. (Snook) Fisher.

Surviving are: his former wife of 32 years, F. Ruth (Yoder) Fisher, of Mattawana; four children, Robert L. Fisher, of Mattawana, Linda D. Fisher, of Lewistown, Gregory D. Fisher, of Newport, Lisa A. Bright and husband Paul, of Belleville; a granddaughter, Michele (Baker) Lutz, of Reedsville; eight siblings, Donald R. and wife, Gerri, of Lebanon, Joyce A. Miller, of Lewistown, Cecelia I. Cutman Grove and husband Delmar, of Newville, Homer L., of McVeytown, Melvin T. and wife, Jackie, of McVeytown, Violet G. Prendergast and husband, John, of Reedsville, Marshall E. and wife, Kay, of Lancaster, Mildred R. Impink, of Lewistown; a sister-in-law, Wilda H. Fisher, of McVeytown; a brother-in-law, Stanley R. Mowery, of Lewistown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Barry Paul Fisher, in 1955; a brother, Charles D. Fisher; and a sister, Laura A. Coleman Mowery.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Germany.

Funeral services held at Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, with his nephew, the Rev. Jeffrey Fisher officiating. Interment in Pine Glen Cemetery.
