About Calvin Harrison Shuey
9 Jun 1967: Calvin H. Shuey, formerly of 137 W. Main St., Annville, died Thursday afternoon in the Oreville Mennonite Home, Lancaster County, where he had been a resident for six years. He was 78. A son of the late Edward and Rosanna Boyer Shuey, he was born in East Hanover Township. He was a retired farmer in North Annville Township, and was a member of Dohner's Mennonite Church, where he was active in the Men's Bible Class of the Sunday school. His wife, the former Elizabeth Ebersole, died February 14, 1961. Surviving are two sons, Jacob of Palmyra and David of Annville RD 2; three daughters, Viola Stover, Denver RD 1, Anna, wife of Victor Bomgardner, Annville RD 1, and Irene, wife of Earl Gingrich of Annville; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Soliday, of Lebanon, and Mrs. Carrie Bohr, Hershey RD 1; two brothers, Garfield, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Irvin, Jonestown; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
