Cambyses I (flourished 6th century bc), Persian king of the Achaemenid dynasty who ruled (circa 600-559 bc) over Anshan (now Baghdad Province, Iraq) as a vassal of the Medes, then preeminent in Persia. Cambyses I was the son of Cyrus I (flourished 7th century bc), whom he succeeded, and the father of Cyrus the Great, who founded the Persian Empire. According to the Greek historian Herodotus, Cambyses I married the daughter of Astyages, king of the Medes (reigned about 584-550 bc).

כנבוזי הראשון (בפרסית: کمبوجيه يکم; ביוונית Καμβύσης; בפרסית עתיקה Kambūǰiya; ‏בערך 600 לפנה"ס - 559 לפנה"ס), הידוע גם ככנבוזי הפרסי או כמביזס, היה מלך אנשאן משנת 580 לפנה"ס ועד מותו. היה אביו של כורש הגדול, בנו הצעיר של כורש הראשון. הניח את היסודות לממלכה האחמנית.

כנבוזי היה ככל הנראה נינו של מייסד השושלת האחמנית, האחמניש. ממלכתו של כמבוזי הייתה מדינת חסות של מדי הגדולה וייתכן שאף היה נשוי לנסיכה ממוצא מדיי.

על פי הרודוטוס, כנבוזי היה "איש משפחה טובה והרגלים שקטים". הוא מלך תחת חסותו של אסטיאגס (Astyages), מלך מדי. לדברי ההיסטוריון הקדום ניקולאוס איש דמשק שמו המקורי היה אטרדטס (Atradates). בסביבות 551 לפניה"ס, הוא מרד, יחד עם בנו כורש הגדול, באסטיאגס מלך מדי. הוא נפצע ומת מאוחר יותר בקרב הגבול הפרסי.
