His first wife was Maria de MORALES, daughter of Juan de MORALES and Isabel GUTIERREZ. Their daughter, Melchora NAVARRO, married Juan GALINDO. Don Diego’s second wife was Feliciana BOTELLO, daughter of Capitan Andres CAMACHO and Juana BOTELLO. Their children were Bernabe, Juana, Diego, and Martin. He raised a child from birth whom he named Juan SANCHEZ. He engaged in agriculture and ranching. He had a home in the Estancia de Santa Ana, jurisdiction of Saltillo, which he had inherited from his parents. His home in Saltillo was located on the plaza. He made a will in Saltillo in November of 1670.
