Archibald is a verified member of the Lee family of Virginia - a documented direct descendant of Richard Lee, The Immigrant.

Archibald is also a descendant of the Campbells of Argyll. His ancestor, Duncan Campbell, was known to be a cousin of Lord William Campbell, Governor of South Carolina, the documented direct descendant of the Earls and Dukes of Argyll.
