A Patriot of the American Revolution for GEORGIA with the rank of Captain. DAR Ancestor #: A027574
Capt Crawford served in the 2nd North Carolina Regiment, raised in August 1775. Source page 71 Wheelers Historical Sketches. On page 72 it is stated that all officers of the 1st and 2nd North Carolina Regiments were called into service out of the state, in the Continental line.
