Judge John Anderson son of Governor John Anderson.
He was an Elder of Tennent Church in 1745, and was the second largest subscriber to its building fund in 1749. Tradition says that he entertained George Washington on the night before the Battle of Monmouth.
He lived Freehold Twp, NJ, on a farm containing upwards of 450 acres.
