11. 28. Joseph Harding,3 in 1714, was of Chatham where he acted as moderator of
town meetings, 1718, '20, and '35, and built a house for their first minister, and had difficulty with the town about it. Oct. 1, 1730, he was appointed to adminis- ter on the estate of his son Joseph, deceased. Feb. 16, 1738-9, he made his will, which was proved May 8, 1745. From this it is evident that he had.
