Perez Richmond was born on 5 October 1702 at Little Compton, RI. He was the son of Silvester Richmond and Elizabeth Rogers. Perez Richmond married Deborah Loring, daughter of Thomas Loring and Deborah Cushing, on 11 March 1731 at Little Compton, RI. Perez Richmond died on 15 September 1770 at Dartmouth at age 67.

Captain Perez Richmond, his commission from King George II was dated September 1, 1742. He inherited the bulk of his fathers property, and was prominate among the men of his time.
