Capt. Samuel Soames

Captain Samuel Soames, son of Captain Isaac Soames and Lydia Thorndyke.1, was baptized 12 MAY 1754 Gloucester, Essex, Mass. and died 27 MAR 1796 . Also known as Captain Samuel Somes.1

He was a soldier in the early part of the revolutionary war. After the war was a sea captain and merchant.

Married Abigail, widow Bray. Father of Capt. Samuel who had two sons.
