Captain in The Eastern Regiment. He and his brother Moses were Captains in the same regiment. Deacon and Elder in the church. The children were all baptized the same day, Nov. 7, 1762, at the First Presbyterian Church of Morristown.

Biography

Stephen Munson was born in 1733 in Morristown, New Jersey, his father,Solomon, was 44 and his mother, Mary, was 39.

Stephen married Letitia Ludlam and they had six children together.

Stephen then married Kezia in 1790 in Morristown, New Jersey.

Stephen died on November 8, 1805, in Hanover, New Jersey, at the age of 72, and was buried in Whippany, New Jersey.
