William Marston Sr. & William Marston Jr. migrated to New England in 1636 or 37, living first in Salem, MA. then Newbury, MA before settling permanently in Hampton, NH.

William Jr's brother, John Marston settled in Andover, MA & was a member of the secret revolutionary organization, Son's of Liberty. His name along with names of the other members is engraved on the Liberty Bowl crafted by Paul Revere in 1768. The Liberty Bowl along with the Declaration of Independence & the Constitution are considered America's three most cherished possessions. The bowl is owned by the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
