About Capt. Youngs Ledyard
Youngs traded extensively with the West Indies, and died at sea, April 4, 1762. Benedict Arnold was a clerk to Youngs Ledyard and much dissatisfaction was expressed by the family because Arnold did not render a satisfactory account of Ledyard's affairs.
