DeVall's Bluff, Ar., June 29-- Capt. R.E. Richardson died here at 7 a.m. today after an illness of three months, in the 48th year of his age. Capt. Richardson is the son of the late Gen. R.N. Richardson, and was a gallant boy soldier in the war between the States, serving as a volunteer in the Twelfth Tennessee Cavalry. Capt. Richardson was a large general merchant at this place, and has been prominently identified with the business interests of this country for nearly a quarter of a century. Capt. Richardson was a Knight of Honor in high standing and a member of the Methodist Church. Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Memphis, Sunday, June 30.
