Regarding Holmes-Hendrickson house:

From Grace Modla:

According to Holmes-Hendrickson family documents, Daniel Hendrickson (1673-1728) gave the dwelling known to us as the "Holmes-Hendrickon House" to his daughter Teuntje (Catharine) Hendrickson upon her marriage to Jonathan Holmes Jr., joining the two influential English and Dutch families. I haven't come across the name Penelope Kent van Princen Stout in connection with either the Holmes or Hendrickson families so far. Perhaps others can shed light. However, as a 22 year old early Dutch settler, Penelope Stout has a truly fascinating -- and harrowing -- story. A good place to start is here: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~flgssvc/penelopestout-final.html.
