CAPTAIN JAMES MUIRHEAD OF LAUCHOPE
Captain James Muirhead of Lauchope: "the second son, parted with any small remainder of the estate, and going also into the army, came to be a captain in the Earl of Orkney's regiment, in which he continued, after it was, on the Earl's demise, given to Colonel Sinclair; in which station he died in the end of the 1738 in Ireland, leaving no issue, save two daughters."
