Stephen Arnold was born about 1685, likely at Pawtuxet (village of Warwick), Rhode Island, the son of Israel Arnold and Mary Baker. [1] [2]
Stephen received a bequest of 50 acres from his father Israel in his will dated March 23, 1717, and proved September 23 of that year. [2]
1720-24: Served a Lieutenant. [2]
1726: Served as Captain. [2]
He married first Sarah, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Arnold) Greene on Nov. 28, 1706. Sarah was born at Warwick on Oct. 27, 1685.[3] [2]
She died at Warwick on Dec. 5, 1724. [3]
He married second Jane Blount on Dec. 28, 1727. [3] [4] [2]
