Carl F. Markword

His Illinois Death Index (transcribed death certificate listings) contains errors and misspellings such as "Visa" instead of "Ursa" Illinois.

His surname is spelled "Markwood" in that transcription. It is also spelled that way in one census. However the family surname was Markwood. His parents' names were Henry and Caroline. Their surnames are Markwood on their burials and nearly all of their documents/censuses. (Sometimes, a family line with go with a different surname spelling than another.)

FHL 1787128 (Illinois Death Index) also notes he was in Ursa only about a month and a half at time of death.

He married Bessie Hughes 26 July 1893 in Adams county, Illinois. He worked as a carpenter.

Have kept surname as in listing since there are other Markwoods in this cemetery. No prior page (in Adams county) under Markwood or Markword.
