Was a farmer and lived at Burlington County, New Jersey. Not known how many children they had. Information provided by John Wesley Haines via Bill Wentz. Also recorded birth of 1703 IGI. It is said he had two thumbs on one hand.

Carlile and his wife are buried in the "Haines Burying Ground" on the Richard Haines farm near Lumberton, where he located and settled (Burlington Co., N.J.)
A list of his children and their spouses as well as his will is in the book, "Ancestry of the Haines, etc. Families" by George Haines, pages 28-30.

Carlile and his wife Sarah were buried in the " Haines Burying Ground " on the Richard Haines farm near Lumberton, where he located and settled. Sarah died suddenly of a wound of the foot in 1774
Carlile Haines devised unto his son John Haines a life estate in his plantation (known as the Richard Haines Farm) and then to his grandson, Carlile Haines, son of his son Solomon Haines. John Haines gave Carlile Haines, for a quit claim, eight hundred dollars; which is on record in the Clerks office at Mt. Holly, making the title good to the heirs of John Haines.
