Mother of Steven Anthony Holgate. Sister of Robert William Godfrey, Sr., Vivian Ann Constantine (Godfrey), Philip Paul Godfrey, Jacquelyn Ruth Godfrey, and Michael Roy Godfrey. Half sister of Ronald Lee Godfrey and Albert William Jackson. "I'm curious about my roots. I want to find the right ancestors for my Godfrey and Jackson roots for future generations of my family. obituary: Fitzgerald, Carol M.(Godfrey), 67, of Malden died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at home in Malden, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was the eldest daughter of the late Albert W. and Norma L. (Jackson) Godfrey. Born at Boston City Hospital and educated in Boston, MA. She graduated from Roxbury Community College and attended Suffolk University with a major in business. She worked a number of jobs including Shawmut Bank for 10 years until she was disabled with congestive heart failure in 1997. She is survived by: her husband of 37 years, Joseph F. Fitzgerald, her son, Steven Anthony Holgate and her six siblings: Robert Godfrey, Philip Godfrey, Jacquelyn Godfrey, Ronald Godfrey, Michael Godfrey and Albert Jackson. She was predeceased by her sister, Vivian Ann Constantine.

• Note: The Red Sox and the Patriots were her favorite teams. The Pawtucket Red Sox was her other favorite team. She went to a PawSox game every year since 1993. She loved to travel and play on-line games. Cremated with ashes distributed to her husband and relatives.
