In 1957, the family relocated to southern California & settled in Granada Hills where she attend school. ≤/span>≤/p>="color: #404f57; font-family: 'PT Serif', serif; font-size: 24px; background-color: #ffffff;">After graduation, she met & married her sweetheart, Allen Miller. They were young and carefree until Allen developed M.S. Carole, now, devoted her energy & efforts in caring for his needs full-time. Unfortunately; some fifteen years later, Carole was diagnosed with Parkinsons. The rapid progression of the disease took a tremendous toll on her physical health. At this time, their roles switched & Allen became her primary caregiver. Despite these difficulties, Carole & Allen's devotion to each other never wavered & was an inspiration to all who knew them.≤/span>≤/p>n style="color: #404f57; font-family: 'PT Serif', serif; font-size: 24px; background-color: #ffffff;">Carole is survived by her beloved daughter, Nicole Renee Nelson of Wheaton, IL, who was the joy ofher life; her adoring husband, Allen Miller of Modesto; her parents, Violet & LuVerne Nelson of Modesto; her three sisters, Connie Pascolati (Steve) of Plymouth, MA, Gloria Anderson (Richard) of Paso Robles, CA, & Sandy Salmers (Blake) of Kapaa, Hawaii; her two brothers, Ron Nelson (Laura) of Escalon, CA, & Rick Nelson (Sherry) of Modesto, her Aunt Mary Lou & Uncle Truman Olson ofBrownsdale, MN, her Uncle Bob Nelson of Austin, MN, her Aunt Shirley Holstad of Clear Lake, Iowa, numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.≤/span>≤/p>erif', serif; font-size: 24px; background-color: #ffffff;" />≤span style="color: #404f57; font-family: 'PT Serif', serif; font-size: 24px; background-color: #ffffff;">Carole had a passion for photography, gardening, fresh flowers, her dog Pepsi, watching Saturday Night Live, & reading the daily newspaper. She was sweet, kind, & had a terrific sense of humor, & an infectious laugh. Carole will always be remembered for the twinkle in her eye, her warm smile, & her hugs that always let you know that you were loved. Her thoughtfulness will forever live in our hearts. She is deeply missed.≤/span>≤/p>24px; background-color: #ffffff;">A private memorial was held to celebrate her life & to share the wonderful & special memories we have of her.
