ARCAND- Mrs. Caroline Arcand, age 80, late of Debden, passed away in the Shellbrook Hospital on Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Caroline leaves to mourn, her husband, Arcule Arcand of Debden; her five sons, Rene (Kate) Arcand of Prince Albert, Ricky Arcand of Debden, Peter Arcand of Debden, Emile Arcand of Debden, Ernest Arcand of Debden; her five daughters, Denise Lehouillier of Prince Albert, Peggy Arcand (Ivan Beaulac) of Debden, Shirley Arcand of Rocky Mountain House AB, Roxanne Arcand (Tim Snyder) of Holbein, Cindy (Dennis) Neufeld of Matensville, her two sisters, Rose Anne Watier Sr. of Big River, Isabelle 'Peggy' Ahenakew of Mont Nebo; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by and infant daughter; four infant sons; her parents, Domitilde and Charles Scott; four brothers, Vern, George, Harry and Charlie Scott; two sisters, Beatrice Gaudry and Doris St. Denis. The Vigil of Prayer was held at St. Jean the Baptiste Roman Cathloic Church in Debden on Friday, July 10 at 7:30 pm led by Mrs. Chantal Bisson. The Funeral Mass was held at St. Jean the Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 11 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Fr. Bernabe Millan Sajonas as celebrant. The eulogy was given by Neil Lehouillier. The organist was Diane Duret, the soloist was Lorna Parent, and the music director was Louise Marchildon. The cross-bearer was Ronald Anderson. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
