June 1870 Providence Census has Carrie B. Wilson (16), living with James C. Hidden (56) and Eliza D. Hidden (26), and their children: Thomas (18), Annie (14), Joseph (Leeman) (7), and Lizzie (2). Carrie is attending school.

On Sept 15, 1872 Royal F. Dodge, 28, son of David? and Elizabeth?, and Carrie B. Wilson, 18, daughter of Samuel and Eliza, were married in Wakefield, Massachusetts, by clergyman Charles R. Bliss. It was the first marriage for both. Royal was a boxmaker living in Wakefield at the time, and Carrie was living in Newcastle, Maine. Both were listed as born in New Castle

On May 16, 1908 Samuel H G Ballard age 57, b. 1851, (widowed), son of Daniel Ballard and Susan Stone, and Carrie B. (Wilson) Adams age 54, (widowed), daughter of Samuel Wilson and Eliza Dodge, were married in Marblehead Mass, by E.E, Small, clergyman. It was Samuel's 3rd marriage and Carrie's 4th.
