Obituary: "Catharine Parsons Diller died Sunday afternoon at the home of her grandson, Porter C. Diller, on West Main street, this boro. She was an invalid for many years, but bore the afflictions with great Christian fortitude. She was bedfast only a month. The direct cause of her demise was the infirmities incident to old age her age being 83 years, 3 months and 8 days. Mrs. Diller was twice married. Her first husband was Samuel Parsons. Of this union two children survive. Margaret, wife of Dr. J.E. Harner, this boro, and Christian B. Parsons, of New York. Her second husband, the late Amos Diller, died fifteen years ago. She was a native of New Holland and spent all her life here. In her young days she was an active worker in the Lutheran Church and Sunday school of which she was a member. The funeral was held from her late home on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. All services were conducted at the house by her pastor, Rev. S. M. Mountz. The interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery. Funeral Director Henninger had charge. The funeral was largely attended especially by relatives from a distance.
