About Catherine Doran
Until 4/20/19 was listed as Anna Catherine Doren (Schott) born in 1758, which is impossible. Her marriage date was listed as 1755 (three years before she was born), with her first child born in 1758. I updated it to match the information at https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/LHTN-P9K/catherine-shadow-173... which looks MUCH more accurate and agrees with multiple sources.
Twin sister of Christine Margaret
Shadow Name Meaning
Origin unidentified. The name Shadue, Schadewe is recorded in England in the 12th and 13th centuries, from Middle English shadwe ‘shadow’, Old English sceadu (see Shade). However, there is no evidence of its continuation into modern times in this form.
