About Catherine Sharp
Catherine died after December 28, 1800, the date of her will in Rockingham, North Carolina. Old will book page 23, the division of John's property among the children was already listed in his will. Catherine only had a few personal belongings to give to her children upon her death.
As a resident of Guilford County, N.C. she was paid on August 2, 1782 the amount of 42:10 which was allowed by Bruce & Hunter for Upper Salisbury District for the patriotic service she rendered during the American Revolution. She is listed as #1257 in Vol 1, page 100, folio 2 in the Treasurer and Comptroller Record, Revolutionary Army Accounts in the North Carolina Archives.
