Cela E. Lenz

Cela E. Lenz, 85, of Apostolic Christian Home, formerly of 822 W. Elm St., Chillicothe, died at 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7, 1992, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born Oct. 19, 1906, in Wayne County, Mo., to Charles and Parmela Asbury Phillips, she married Samuel J. Lenz on Aug. 27, 1930, in Jackson, Mo. He died Jan. 14, 1987, in Chillicothe. She also was preceded in death by two brothers. Surviving are one son, James of Varna; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Phillips of Arizona.
