Charles Bachman, thirty-three, died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in the Lancaster General Hospital of complications. He resided at 1122 Wheatland ave. He was born October 23, 1900, in Strasburg, and was the son of the late Ellis and Lillian Arnold Bachman. He had been a resident of this city since 1917, prior to that time he lived in Strasburg. He was employed in the engineering department of the Conestoga Traction company for twelve years. He is survived by his wife who was Ethel Zittle, of Edisonville, before her marriage; one son, Charles, Jr., at home; and the following brothers and sisters: Robert, Indianapolis, Indiana; Harold, Sharon; Barbara, at home; Mrs. Carl Moore, Erie; Stanley, Erie; and Donald, Strasburg.
The funeral will be held privately from the late home Saturday at 2 p.m. (D.T.). Friends may call at the parlors of Fred F. Groff, Inc. 234 W. Orange st., Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
