About Charles Wilson Carlton

Dr. Carlton graduated from the Ontario Veterinarian College. He moved to Williamson, West Virgina, in 1913, an era when mules, horses and ponies were used extensively in the mining of coal, and stock raising was an important part of those engaged in farming. He built up an extensive practice that included Mingo, Pike and other nearby counties. Dr. Carlton was affiliated with the Loyal Order of Masons and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
