About Charles Carlton Lee, Sr
Obituary: South Bend Tribune:
Charles Carlton Lee, 2010 S Michigan St., died at 8:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after an illness of four months. He was born in South Bend April 15, 1912, and was employed by the Huckins Tool and Die, Inc. On Jul 7, 1931, he married Miss Julia Elek, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Charles C., Jr., Ralph Edward, Clarabelle Kay, and Phyllis Jean, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee, South Bend; three brothers, Roy C., South Bend, Earl H., Detroit, Mich, and James E.,Battle Creek, Mich, and a sister, Mrs. Thelma Baughman, Springfield, Mass. Friends may call in the Hay Funeral Home after 4:30 p.m. today and until funeral services there at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. James A. Ellerbrook, pastor of Indiana Avenue Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Graveside services will be conducted by St. Joseph Lodge 45, F. & A. M., of which he was a member.
