Charles Riviere Herard
Third president of Haiti 30 decembre 1843 - 3 mai 1844
Herard's regime fraught with unrest, and revolutions.
At the time Herard became president, all of Hispaniola had been unified under one government by former president, Jean-Pierre Boyer.
He had to face rebel take over in Santo Domingo, Armed rebellion in the North and fight L'Armeé Souffrant approaching from the South.
