Charles Herman Snowden

Charles Herman Snowden was born in Breathitt County, Ky as William Row to George Row & Rebecca (Joseph) Row. He was married 1 Sept 1902 at Magoffin Co., Ky by A. C. Cooper Minister, Wit: Henry Collinsworth & V. Cooper to (1)Florence Collinsworth b. Dec 1888 Ky and died 1954 in Jasper County, Indiana. They had one child Ethel T. Row who married John Bailey. Charles/William married 31 Dec 1905 Breathitt Co., Ky by A. C. Cooper, Minister, Wit: Sam McIntosh & M. Joseph to (2) Maud Lovely b. Jan 1884 Breathitt Co., Ky. While he was married to Maud he was out drinking and gambling with his brother in law Sam McIntosh, they got in an argument and Charlie killed Sam McIntosh in self defense, this happened about 1906, Will did not know that his wife was pregnant (the child later died at 2 yrs of age). Charlie/William fled Ky and went to Scott Co., Va. and there he married the third time to Mary Magdalene Allen and they had eight children, Ressie, Lilly Mae, Carl, Joseph B. , Sarah, Hazel, Martha and Mary, the last two were twins.
