Find a grave #9438955 listed in a book History of the Connecticut Valley in Massachusetts,Volume II by Louis Everts,1879....it states that the Stewart family along with others who are named came from Ireland in 1719....also land was given to various men....including Charles Stewart yr 1751 month of March....each lot was 50 acres....and laid in four ranges east to west....

Charles Stewart is a member of Clan Stewart.
Charles Stewart was born in about 1705 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. He was the son of John Stewart and Elizabeth Clarke. Charles died in 1777 and was buried in Colrain (now called Brookfield), Carrol County, Massachusetts.
