About Charlotta Louisa Maria Louw / Joubert
transfer to Michiel Adriaan Siebritz, who had died since the sale, and whose estate simultaneously transferred the property to Johannes Wynand Louw. Johannes Wynand Louw was the son of Adriaan Jacobus Louw and Charlotte Louisa Maria Herold. Born on 25th October 1841, he was only 25 years of age at the time he acquired the Plumstead property, which he renamed Buitenverwachting. For fifteen years Louw farmed Buitenverwatching - then he subdivided it; one portion, comprising 179 morgen (the bulk of the property, including the farmstead), he sold on l7th March 1881 to Stephanus Petrus Lategan, a well-to-do farmer of the Breede valley near Worcester.
